Adelaide Crows Big Man Alex Keath, is on board a plane to South Africa today after the Crows agreed to loan the all-rounder to Cricket Australia on a short term basis.

Keath, who famously left cricket in 2016/17, has now gone back to replace the disgraced Steve Smith.

Speaking at Adelaide Airport this morning Keath said “I’m not that keen to be going back to cricket but I reckon I’ll wreck Rabada.”

“I’ve pretty much mastered every sport there is. I’m keen to get a few games for the Crows this season but I’ll treat this cricket captaincy as a little side project until I’m ready.”

Keath went on to say his first move as Captain will be to see Darren Lehman sacked and replaced with Don Pyke.

The announcement comes after reports emerged that Rob Chapman and Nigel Smart had engaged in talks with the Commonwealth Government to purchase the Australian Cricket Team and bring them under the Adelaide Football Club umbrella.

More to come.
