Former Adelaide Crows utility Scott Stevens has today been named the winner of Australia’s Most Ordinary Rig, beating out a strong field that included Darren Lehmann and Mark Waugh.
Speaking to the Journal after being crowned the winner, Stevens explained how he was surprised that he even made it to the finals.
“There was some tough competition out there. Osher Gunsberg was packing a serious dad bod. You’d never pick it from how good he looks on the Bachelor.”
Stevens explained how he was able to use his past experiences in the Adelaide change rooms to his advantage.
“I used to have to change next to Chris Knights. That man has the best rig anyone as ever seen. Brett Burton never found a pair of budgy smugglers that fit him. I just channelled the feelings that I had back then on stage today and I guess it worked for me.”
“Trust me, I know how to look ordinary.”
